This is a remarkable photograph. Did you get special access to manage this shot? I'd be very surprised that the operators would let you get this close to the edge of a drop such as this.
Or is this a shot looking up the shaft?
I had to get special access for the shot. The elevator shaft is in the locked off portion of the mansion. I was an employee, but I still required a little inside help to get into that part of the mansion.
